You wouldn’t think that baking a cake could be the answer to one’s mortgage repayment prayers.

By using her initiative, Angela Logan held a cake sale, and by selling more than 500 “mortgage apple cakes” for $40 USD each, she has been able to continue to pay her mortgage and thus keep her home in Bergen County, USA.

WIth the generosity of a local hotel that allowed her to use some kitchen space to bake, and with Bank of America requiring 100 cakes to be sold to enable a loan modification, Ms Logan is a nice success story when there are so many less positive ones.

Let’s hope her experience will inspire others!
