I’m currently reading “What Your Doctor Doesn’t Know About Nutritional Medicine May Be Killing You” by Dr Ray Strand who advocated literally “living until you die”.

It is very much about the importance of getting your nutrition spot on to fight free-radicals caused from the oxidation process (ie. oxygen makes us “rust”). It’s not mind blowing, and it’s not overly scientific, just good common sense-stuff, and is why articles like THIS ONE in the Sydney Morning Herald today are really saying nothing new.

Ok, so it’s national men’s health week/month in Australia.

There are so many worthwhile causes relative to the health issues men face, so a this period bring many of these together.

I’m learning right now how tough it is to get my fitness back. Two sessions with my trainer and up to three cardio sessions at altitude (4400 meters or so) are getting me back into shape fortunately – it just requires ongoing effort. Fingers crossed :)
