How much of a choice do we have in everyday life? Do we believe in destiny or fate? Are our lives pre-determined or do we have total will to chart our course?

These are not new questions, and they certainly are not specific to an individual: they have been tirelessly philosophized about over the ages, and they often leave more questions unanswered than they provide.

As such, Hollywood makes movies that play on such curiosities and author’s that make an impact have resonated with the reader in ways that only the individual can potentially fathom.

Believe it or not, this blog post isn’t a lead into something deep and meaningful just something I’m pondering – as I have many, many times and will no doubt continue to – having just watched the movie The Adjustment Bureau.

It’s premise is simple: is our life pre-determined or can we influence the outcomes? Watch the movie, ponder and philosophise, this is purely an invitation that’s totally up to you.

Or is it?
