The Banpo Bridge in Seoul, South Korea has set the world record for the world’s longest fountain. Using a 10,000 metre long nozzle on both sides of the bridge and 190 tons of water per minutes, in 2008 a bland, unattractive piece of infrastructure was quickly turned into a piece of art and indeed a huge tourist attraction.

And for those concerned about the water usage, the water is simply coming from the river below.
